Chef Elise

I had a phone conversation with Elise McGregor this evening. While in London she had invited me to read one of her favorite books. I did not get it finished before flying home but found it at the library here in Vernal and read it. When Sandra called yesterday regarding prom dresses we have borrowed from them, I asked her to please notify Elise. Elise called while Rebecca and Davis were visiting so I promised to call later. We spoke on the phone for just under one hour. We spoke of many things including her interest in cooking (sandwiches are her favorite - especially tuna), her interest in owls; we talked about books, pillowcases, hunting (I received a .22 rifle for my 16th birthday...), and many other things. At one point, Sandra called to her from another room and I heard Sandra say, "You're still on the phone?"

We decided to try email in the days ahead.
